UPDATE 7
Ok, well, I just uploaded the last of my weekly (almost) writing challenges.
I hope you all (yes, all 3 of you) enjoy it. Thanks for reading and happy holidays.
UPDATE 6
Well, it's Sunday and this should have been the day I posted Writing Challenge #7, but I had kind of a bad week so I didn't get my story finished. It's another Bonnie the Witch story, but I think it's going to be the last ... at least for a while. In fact, since no one seems to be reading the stories I think I'm going to stop writing them ... again, at least for a while.
I will post this last story, called 'Night Music' when I finish it.
UPDATE 5
Ok, here's challenge #6 and it's the conclusion of last week's Bonnie the Witch story.
Have fun!
UPDATE 4
Well, I've just posted writing challenge #5. It's another Bonnie the Witch story.
Hope you enjoy.
UPDATE 3
It's week 4 of the writing challenges and this week the prompt threw 2 stories at me so you get 2 for the price of 1 this week. Enjoy.
UPDATE 2
Here we are at week 3 of our writing challenges. It's called 'Grandma's Closet'
It's another Bonnie the Witch story - hope you like it.
UPDATE
It's week 2 of the writing challenge and I'm just about to post my second short piece.
This one I actually got to finish and I quite like it.
So go read it and enjoy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I can't believe it's been almost an entire year since my last journal, but I've finally got off my butt to put up a new one.
The reason is as it says in the title, Tara (forestina's fotos ) and I are trying something new to get our creative juices flowing in our writing. We've both been working on long-term projects and needed a boost - an inspiration - to get back our mojo.
So when Tara wrote to me last week and asked me if I'd be interested in "setting each other small challenges? Short pieces of prose (even poetry) that have nothing to do with our novels. Just scenes. Or emotions. Anything really. To get our creative juices flowing again. We could give each other a mood, or emotion, or setting, even a couple of keywords. Could be fantasy, adventure, romantic, whatever. And it wouldn't have to be very long. A couple of paragraphs, but longer if we get into the flow."
I wrote back and basically said, Hell yeah!
So that's what we're doing.
One week I pick a few 'prompts' for us to choose from, the following Tara chooses. Then at the end of the week, we're gonna post them here on dA for everyone to see.
My first piece is the beginning of a short story called 'The Dragoi" and can be found in my gallery.
I hope to get some feedback, but gentle.
Thanks to the lovely
